Guys,
Does anybody know a 2000 C55 owner who uses personal SDS to check there system regularly?
The C55 owners manual for the 98/99 gate shift says it uses a different ECU starting with A208 instead of our A026.. but I am interested to know if the later C55 with touch shift has the same ECU as regular touch shift C43 just coded to the C55....you can view the code information easily with SDS.
I found I can Code the ME2.0 myself but need the right codes... coding can be pulled from Group54 in WIS for E55/C43/CLk55 etc but I am most interested in an option to purchase a new ECU and code it to C55.

My friend got 99 C55, with tiptronic, ECU & TCU/EGS should be different, cause it has ECM for authorize starting via CAN,
ECU #: 999 540 00 13
EGS/TCU #: 015 545 11 32
ESM #: 210 545 14 32
*i think ECU/TCU should to be married with ECM, for firing-up, but not soo sure about that..!
