hello everyone, i was first introduced to the c43 afew years and fell in love with them, i have now decided i want to buy one. who wouldnt right =)? i know the 2000 model is pretty rare, i wanted to know how rare? is it valued different than the '98 '99 models? how much is too much to pay for one?
i found a black 2000 c43 amg for sale with 150k miles on the clock. he wants 8k. i havent seen it in person yet but the body looks good in the pictures but the interior looks like it isnt in good shape.
what i want to know is worth it getting the 2000 model or should i continue my search for one in better condition. id really like to get one with low miles, id say 80k max. with a fresh interior. thanks for the help

"fresh" interior means something different on these cars. the interiors age extremely well. I've sat in a 99 with 80k miles right next to my 99 when it had 250k miles and the only noticeable difference in the interiors was my headliner was falling down.
8k for a 2000 with nearly 160k miles is anyone's guess. there were unofficially 27 imported to the US. C43 prices have been all over the map recently, between 2500 and 25,000!! but if it were me, I'd haggle him down to 6k if possible. who knows, this time next year we might be saying 8k is a decent price.

tuxedo interior doesn't age very well!?
designo steering wheels tends to look very nasty if they are not treated well on high mileage cars.
best quality interior is full black leather, although designo looks more exclusive
