Brabus 5.8
I know for a fact that a few of you are watching this already, I don't think the price is worth it only because it's got 100k on the clock and burning oil, I'd rather pick up an engine for less than $1500 and drop $6000 into it. Opinions? I'm also kind of thinking that the 400hp rating might not be all engine, what about exhaust? IDK

Interesting about the oil consumption...
Does anybody know how Brabus gets the 5.8 displacement?
edit - if anybody buys it for the 202 and installs the ECU remember 208 is two door so the EIS will not talk to your rear door modules

. . . I admit that it is an intriguing project, but I suspect the budget for the conversion and swap would be twice the $6K you mentioned and that's assuming that you don't run into any unforeseen issues, of which there are plenty. That said, I wish that weren't the case . . .
