LED conversion c43
Hello again.
Ive been searching for quite some time without finding a satisfieing answear.
Im planning to do a full interior led conversion and was hoping that we all can help out in making a list of the amount of led bulbs and what type of sockets to order to make it all fit..
The lamps i can think of are:
Dashboard
Cluster / Gauge panel
Domelight in the roof + the one in the back seat
Doorpanels
Trunk
License plates
glovebox compartment
Are there any in the foot compartment in the drivers/passengers position?
So If you know any bulbs required for any of above mentioned please feel free to contribute.
ill edit the post and lift ur information to the first post.
Hopefully the next guy can make use of the list.

Definitely search the forums and YouTube. A fellow with a non-amg w202 has a current or recent build thread where he changed them all out, even soldered the window led under the button to white. I was actually thinking of this mod for a bit, then thought about doing it in red as it's easier on the eyes and then just sort of thought orange is ok too lol. I may do a swith on my domes, idk yet.

i have blue color leds for trunk, glove compartment and front and rear dome cabin lights paired with my illuminated blue light AMG doorsills.
white led for maplight.
rear license plate lights are white.
front side parking lights are white
foglights will also be white
everything looks very **** with leds especially in color blue
make sure you buy HQ leds, there are lots of crap leds sold on Fleabay

you want stealth, kill all the lights drive with nightvision goggles
my leds only illuminate when i open the doors or pop the trunk, Five-0 will be impressed with this looks.
don't let leds burn too long when you open the doors, sellers claims leds last for many thousands of hrs but that's bollocks
some of my leds died in less than 2hrs total burntime, had to complaint to sellers to get new leds.
seems like leds has random build quality?

I think driving with night vision goggles is dangerous, but I like the way you think. Cheap led from China, what do you expect! Cadillac made nightvision windshields about 15 years ago, maybe we can adapt that system to run stealth. Also would like anti-radar material to cover car and maybe some other James Bond gadgets.
