c43 1999 help engine starts and stalls immediately




located at back of engine. kind of a bear to get to, but a relatively simple job. it's a very common failure on these cars.
also, I've heard of it being the grease on the flywheel drying up, has something to do with completing a circuit for the starter mechanism. if the grease dries up the connection is lost and the ECU kills the car. car may not start, may start then immediately stop. I don't think this is your problem, because yours is dying when you hit the throttle.
