W202 Crash @ Nurburgring
in my country i think insurance company won't pay out for repair.
this is something to think about before doing such stupeed things like racing on track or public roads.
negligent driving might be very risky and very expensive if there's any damage to car from race driving

either way, that was easily a fixable crash. the only hard part would be fixing the rear left side since you can't just pop off a fender.
I crashed my C43 at 40mph directly into the side of a giant lexus SUV and fixed it!
That's the exact reason why at the track days I do they keep reinforcing that if you get into trouble just stay hard on the brakes until you stop. it's not worth trying to recover, just try and minimise your speed for when you inevitably hit something.

Looking again at the video, I think the dud knew there was a camera on that bend, wanted to drift the corner so as to like a champion and show the world and ended up overcooking things slightly. Guess he must have left with his tail between his legs
but he lost a nice c36 I guess
Edited:
After looking at the video again in slow motion, it looks like he lost things a bit at the end of his braking before the bend, went sideways, corrected and put his left wheels over the edge and in the grass. He lost it again and catapulted across the apex on the right, hit the rail and bounced to the other side. He hit the front left before hitting sideways.

The car is totaled only because of the cost of repairs and parts. I doubt the frame was effected at all.
I take it at around 100mph with very slight steering input needed to take the bend and don't lift. Also tyres are as always very important I would say he did not have great tyres on the car

I really like that color. Is that Barolo red?
