Need your advice urgently... car engine turned off in the middle of the highway
I just finished swapping the 5.5 engine then took the car for ride.. Almost for two hours there was no issues at all .. Everything was smooth and looked fine. Suddenly the engine turned off while am driving in the highway , the BAS ESP popped in, and the car refused to start.
Please share if there is anything can be done or to checked to restart the engine.
Thank you guys for the feedback. The issues was far then a defected CPS as I've already replaced it 4 months ago, and the engine is not cranking out at all at this moment. Also, and when diagnosing there was no power to start the test computer (STAR) .. Even so the battery is in good health as all of the internal lights, head lights & the radio are on..
It seems that the fuse relay unit or the connection to it have an issue , I tried stupid thing by slapping it & fortunately it worked!
The engine started when the car was in PARKED condition, but the moment I start driving within less than 30 second it stopped again!!
So I tried 3 different relay units (having the same code) & I had exactly the same issue with them.
Gonna check on this more on Saturday and we'll revert feedback soon.
Found out the problem, It was the fuse relay itself and the connection to it.. replaced it with a used good condition relay unit. Tho, this part was not moved or even touched during the engine swap
