Spongy Noise When Braking

Spongy Noise When Braking
Hope someone will know what is causing this issue.
Brake pads are new but don't know what kind they put in.
Rotors look pretty good and car stop great.
Problem is when I reverse and step on the brake it makes a spongy noise.
The colder the weather the louder it gets. This didn't happen in summer when I bought the car. Here's a clip of how it sounds, please skip 20 seconds as it's just me opening the garage door. Thanks in advance.

Weird indeed, but I have no idea what's causing this. Something in the brake servo perhaps?

I did some more checks and found outs it's nothing related to the brakes.
More like the sway bar bushings, replacing Tuesday and than checking to see if sound goes away. Thanks though for your reply DRB.
