After some very helpful members on here have provided advice in my other posts on this forum I have another question now that I am learning more about the intricacies of this vehicle 6 months into ownership.
I have some wheels. Some very nice wheels. These wheels will clear the front brake calipers only with a 20mm spacer. At this point they cause some minor rubbing issues and the offset is such that I would not be able to lower the car without cambering the fronts in to clear the fenders.
Can I, and this may sound ridiculous, substitute the front AMG brake calipers for standard c280 calipers. I realise that I would be downgrading my brake system but these AMG calipers are enormous I have never seen a caliper this size.
I am not too bothered about a slight loss in braking power I don't drive very fast anyway I prefer this car as more of a sports cruiser.
All help is much appreciated, unless of course the answer is buy different wheels lol
