210mm diff in C36?
Hi Everyone- I just picked up a very early C36. There are some odd details about the car. It has a AMG engine output sticker (spark plug info) on passenger lower left side of the hood. It is a non asr car and seems to have a 185mm 3.06 diff in it. I have no idea how this ended up in the car. The car has a mercedes rebuilt trans (metal tag on trans) and a 30mm front sway bar.
I was going to swap the engine into a w124, but after the test drive decided to keep the car. It ran really strong and sounded great with the rear muffler off the car.
I have a 210mm 3.06 non asr diff with a quaife lsd in it. Is it possible to make this work on my C36? I would love to hear the degree of difficulty to trying this out as it would make things much more entertaining.
