C43 Transmission Dipstick?

Didn't know this but apparently you need to buy or have a seperate dipstick to check your tranny fluid?

It's 45.25 inches long.....any advice on where to get one of these instead of going to the dealer? Or does it have to be a mercedes dipstick? I just want to be able to check it.

I feel like a dipstick typing this thread....(man these cars are ever confusing and without surprises wow)

Got mine on amazon for around $25 I think. They are all too long, but that doesn't matter. The tip of it catches on a notch and ensures it goes to the correct depth every time.

You can order it through the stealership. Mine came to $33 USD at the stealership in Bellingham.
