For rotors, you can go with 2005+ c230 kompressor sport rotors. They are drilled and only a few mm smaller in diameter but work flawlessly with stock calipers and pads. I've had them on mine for a few years now.

Half the price of stock rotors.

Good idea bro.,

but not recommend to sacrificing of (4mm) thick on each Rotor..!,

cause pistons need to pushing the pads more forward to touch the Rotor Ring..!!,

prefer to get alternative Rotor with (32mm),,

can go with OEM's, plan or drilled...

Thanks for that info cuz im on (pelican,Ecs,FCP) right now looking for things i need...rotors and pads is one of them(do i need to rebuild calipers on 101k car?) the brakes work rather well but for piece of mind it might makes sense... Secondly im looking to replace all gaskets and seals .. Flush of all fluids(especially trans) i see tune up kits and trans kits available (with torque converter drain plug and extra fluid) Plugs and wires and then suspension pieces.. but lets start with everything from motor and trans i would need.. anything i should pay attention to? or should replace that im leaving out ? car has 101k... thanks again to the both of you that cleared that rotor thing up becuase i was aware of that size mattered even tho smaller sizes were compatible. bout to put an order in the next few days just want to make sure my bases are covered.. i see i may need that tool that removes fan and everything to address the front of the engine and all oil that leaked from the gaskets

I suggest the stock rotors; you really can't beat the stopping power & feedback from those brakes (without going BBK). I also have had the C230 rotors on for a year or so now. They look cooler than the stockers, but I prefer the stock rotors.

You can find drilled OE rotors in Germany. I have them since 4 years now. Probably will need changing together with new pads over the winter hibernation period

have put 70k miles on my drilled rotors and they're still good. thinking about shopping around for another set because they should be due not long from now.

but don't worry about "upgrading" your brakes. in case you haven't seen it mentioned elsewhere, the brakes on the stock C43 were outstanding even by today's standards. the only real benefit to slapping on huge, new brakes is people seeing those calipers

just paint your stock calipers instead.

also, 101k is relatively low miles on one of these. most people put a TON of miles on their C43's

Stock Rotors are good indeed, but i believe they're not worth that $$$$,,

prefer to go with drilled Rotors, with less $$$$..

If you want plan Rotors, you can go with "W211 E500" Rotors,

MB #: "211 421 11 12",,

or if you like to go with drilled Rotors, just get "W220 S500 4-Matic" Rotors,

MB #: "220 421 18 12",,

both are reliable & great brake perform..

Interior Breakdown

This def had to go!! the previous owner tried to jerry rig this up..def thinking of going with new material and laying it down myself.

Gutted!!

Taking the panels off was no joke!! those metal tabs/clips take some serious effort to get off...even with like a toothpick type of tool.. def was pretty straight forward to do but def takes quite some effort... Anyone know how to get that part of the sunroof off?? it was dark when i got to this point so i really didn't examine..

is the orange foam **** replaceable? any alternatives? im def gonna sand that glue foam stuff off the liner

In a worse case scenario, just leave the covering off.

Just joking and you must be very patient and in the know to attack that type of job

i have to do the same job on mine. depending on what material you buy, the foam should be attached to the material so you'd just need to scrape/sand off all the old foam and apply glue (usually a can of 3M spray) to the new material and board. clip it and let it dry very well before re-installation.

if the material you buy doesnt have the foam backing attached, then you have to buy the foam backing and actually do the job twice, once for the foam and again for the material.

a nice microsuede should come with the foam attached already.

are you planning on doing the pillars? i think it will look a bit off if you just do the headliner and not the pillars... that is unless of course you use black then it will all match without doing the pillars but you'll have to either swap/paint your visors and paint your trim black. have a feeling that visors off another c class might fit but havent been able to confirm.

I would imagine that all visors are the same on all w202s. However the only difference comes from having or not the folding illuminated courtesy mirrors...

Actually taking the panels and clips off tried my patience last night.. there were so many and so difficult to mess with..trying my hardest not to break anything out of frustration

i do want whatever material i do it in black! especially cuz it'll bring out what i did to the seats out!... make it all pop.(those pics will come soon enough when i finish) ill redo the panels in the same afterwards being that'll be fairly easy.. However i do ask where do i get the material from that will have the padding you're speaking of?
