Which Oxygen Sensor is Bank2 Sensor2?

Well, I finally purchased an INNOVA 3100 Code Reader and Generic Code 0156 showed on the display, which says O2 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 2).

I know that there are 4 sensors:
1. Left Front
2. Right Front
3. Left Rear
4. Right Rear

If anyone knows which one is Bank2 Sensor2, it would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Cylinders 1 thru 4 are on the passenger side, and 5 thru 8 are driver's side, so bank 2 should be the driver's side. Sensor 2 is the post-cat O2 sensor.

I guess the next question is how do you access the O2 sensor after the cat converter?

Thanks.

You'll have to get under the car, it's easy to get to. You're lucky it's not a pre-cat O2 sensor, those can be a big pain.

I initially reset the CEL, but it came back on again after 5 days. So, I finally changed the Bank2 O2 sensor #2 and CEL reset by itself. This one wasn't too bad to change as MBTech indicated.

Thanks for all the information MBTech and everyone.

Sorry I didn't read this earlier... that was the same one out on my C43. It was borderline (the CEL would reset after a day and not come on for a week or more... had to be hot outside). I bought a replacement but never got around to replacing it, so I still have the part if anyone else needs it.
