Two Obsidian Black Carolina C43's
Met up with Chris (nd4spd13) yesterday to do a wheel trade and it was a rare opportunity to see two 197 C43's together. His has the tuxedo interior and mine has the black and blue interior. We both share the exposed metal headliner option at this time

Michelin Pilot Super Sports just arrived yesterday. I'm trying to decide whether I'm going to get the wheels refinished before or after mounting the new tires. Also need to figure out who I want to have do the work.
It's going to be hard to replicate that California background for a new sig pic. Gonna have to head to the Apps this summer to get a good background.

Nice! My ‘99 E55 has the tuxedo interior - it was also the only yr the 210 was offered with the blue/black combo in N.A.
I do wonder if most assume our interior is aftermarket and not stock from the factory.

Things are always different overseas: http://germancarsforsaleblog.com/199...-benz-e55-amg/
USA always gets the worst of the MB, that is to say the least special cars. we never get the limited editions or special models, or if they do come, they hold back a few features. MB will even release special models to other parts of the world that never see the light of day here. make no mistake that the greatest MB are kept in Germany.
but don't forget that MB is also a taxi in Germany so the cheapest most economical models are kept there too.
i think it is carried over resentment from us forcing them to pay for the war. LOL ok we don't get the best Mercedes Benz but we did kick your....

Always the case in the U.S. I never understood why the German wagons are so limited over here.
I wish we could adapt to the Canadian import laws. My old E36 M3 lacked so much power compared to the Euro version. Why?! I believe it all boils down to the added safety requirements and stringent emissions tests in populated areas. In my neck of the woods a car is exempt from emissions @ 25 yrs.
