So I replaced valve cover gasket, grommets and half moons a couple of years ago (yes I also used permatex) as there was a bit of oil on the end of one of my spark plugs when I changed those out and now I have a bit of leak that I had a mechanic diagnose for me when he replaced my neutral switch & shifter bushings. He said it's the upper timing cover and I also need a new oil sensor. The upper timing cover job looks like absolute hell to do as I viewed a couple of videos by Andy P Mercedes Channel. Have any of you done these jobs?
