How much power are you guys making?
looks like im making 290hp and 305tq to the wheels, seems a bit low for a 55 swap or no?

http://imgur.com/gallery/cHkPyYY I never posted the dyno video but sounds pretty great compared to how my 43 sounded

Mine was 295whp/335wtq on the stock 43 ecu. I saw a tq reading of 318 on your sheets so I think you're in the ballpark. I would get with your tuner and schedule a dyno session to really maximize the tune investment.

This is still stock c43 ecu tune, was your dyno run with a different tune?

My car made 291 at the wheels with 5.4, Kleeman headers no cats, Renntech airbox. Made 320 after the tune on same Dyno same day. Don't get wrapped up in numbers, they don't mean anything, every Dyno is different you'd be surprised the variances.

this in a nutshell. It's basically a tool to measure delta under same conditions but each dyno is set up differently. The most important thing is measuring change across the same dyno after you've tweaked your vehicle.

Another thing to factor in and not just look at peak numbers is where the power is made. Or rather, not made.
The c43 trans will shift gears over 6,000 rpm. Look at where some of the early 55's shift, it's more like 5500. I have a w210 motor and started noticing that at high rpm before the shift, the car just felt flat like it couldn't breathe. I got some cams from a 05 clk and just putting those in shifted the power enough where it pulled hard all the way to the shift. Maybe a subtle difference but it makes a good difference in the experience and in speed. Probably didn't gain much hp, probably lost a little torque but the car works so much better
