I am looking for a decent C43 - open to any color combination.
The xenon headlight option would be nice but not a deal breaker.
Willing to travel for the right car - funds are not an issue and I don't need to ask my girlfriend/wife for permission, etc.

If you have one you are willing to part with...PM me the details -
VIN
Ext Color
Int Color
Miles
Price

I am not interested in garbage.
Thank you.

You do realize my post is in the W202 C43 forum...
These cars are 20 years old and not many sitting at dealerships!
Autotrader currently has TWO cars listed in the entire US.

xenon was a standard option for all C43's, if you come across a 43 without it I would pass on the car imo. no telling what else the owner replaced

You are mistaken - Xenon was optional.

We’re the headlamp wipers bundled with the Xenon lamps? Anything else?

I think the other way round. At least in my part of the woods, xenon lights = washer automatically, but I imagine you could get the wiper option with halogen lights.

In 1998 they were stand-alone options, but I am not sure you could get the headlamp wiper/washer with regular/non-xenon lights - or at least I have never seen it.
For 1999 they made a Value Added Package called C1 for $1190 that bundled rain sensor, headlamp washing system and xenon headlamps.
I would have to check my 2000 window sticker but likely the same as 1999 since it was a short run of less than 30 cars.

Kinda agree,

first edition of C43 was on "Oct/1997", and "Bosch" xenon was (basic/standard), with code: "612",,

then "Bosch" replaced their xenon unit with module on "Apr/1998", as code: "612/FC", till "Fab/2000"..

I have a 98 model with headlight wiper/washers and rain sensing windscreen wiper without factory Xenon. They were definitely not paired for 98 models in the US.

When i get the second 98 C43, it was without xenon,

i went to the dealer for vin history, they told me, previous owner removed them & use them with ordinary bulb..!,

be careful with that fellows, most of C43 owners selling the factory xenon before sell the car..!!,

happened with & my friend many times..,,

really bad habit..

Agree with Daniel, "AZN optics" is really great choice..,

OEM Xenon P/N: "N 910139 000000",,

or you can use any "D2R" Xenon bulb with (35W)..
