1998 C43 AMG radiator leak

greetings experts - I searched for this issue and didn't find an answer previously. I have a leak on my radiator upper corner driver side right where a large hose attaches. Looks like a hairline crack that only leaks when engine pretty hot. I'll get a new pressure cap for the expansion tank, but any recommendations for a product to seal the crack from the outside? Or has anyone tried the sealant product that you pour in the fluid and it seals from the inside? Thanks for thoughts...

New radiator - $230 to $270 depending on MB or OEM equivalent w/ free shipping and LIFETIME warranty from FCP Euro. There's nothing that will fix that crack long term. The risk of catastrophic coolant lose is too great as aluminum block and heads don't take well to over-heating.

Agreed. That coolant leak stop stuff is pretty dangerous. You don't want that clogging up the internal coolant passages and destroying your engine.

Thanks all. I replaced the radiator along with the main cooling fan clutch which had failed.
