Just my personal impressions and living since 10 years with a C43
Yeah, I want light and better handling with this car. I will take 18" or 17" though, finding a set is hard enough so that I don't have much of a choice. Just need to find the right set up of wheels tires and suspension.

Honestly hr cup kit is as good as youll go considering the cost. Your other option is kw which is pretty pricy

But if I put different wheels with more tire, am I still going to be so low? Will the 17" Monoblocks with more tire fit and not cause rubbing with this set up?

Yes you will but depending on what spring pads you have, you might be able to raise the car by swapping them out.

There are five different spring pad sizes for a w202. If you put the thickest ones on itll raise your car.

I would start by checking that.

Look under and you should be able to see on top of your springs what looks like rubber circular dish. Itll have dot like notches on it. Three notches means its a #3 pad.

Last pic focus only on the last circled part of it.

I feel like it is a #3 pad from a previous discussion with the PO. Thank you for the info!

just a heads up, a worn subframe bushings can drop your rear end a considerable amount. If youre changing springs it wouldnt be a bad idea to see the conditions of your subframe bushings too
