Tire size question

What tire size is best for stock 17" Monoblocks on the rear. The previous owner put 225/50 I'm look to put 245/45. The front has 215/45, but I'm not changing them now because they're newer than the rears. Im lowered on H&R super sport with Bilstein sport shocks and custom F1 Fab camber arms. Are 245/45 tires on the stock 17" monoblocks fine?

You should be able to find the information on this in the manual for the car.

Since you are lowered you might need to experiment with different sizes to avoid rubbing.

Factory size for the rear should be 245/45/17. I run 265/35/ on my 18s and I am lowered. The 18s are wider.

Im pretty sure you can pull off a 255 om the factory 17 no problem

Factory rears in 17" are 245/40 with ET30. I'm also sure the 255 will also fit, but not sure about circumference being appropriate as the 245/40 though

I stand corrected

Front are a 45 series tire.

225/45/17 7.5x17 et35
245/40/17 8.5x17 et30

I got michelin sport a/s 45/245 rears, I want a level stance and the roads feel harsh to ride on where i live, plus i have stiff suspension.

45 means the side wall is 45% percent of the width of th tire. Lower number doesnt mean the tir me is lower aspect ratio I believe.
When compared the the 40 that is

i mean the car has a 55/225 now, and it gives it a lifted rear end opposed to the front which is 45 profile. Wrong tire in general. If i had 18's or 19's ill put 40 or 35 all around. Tire rack specified 40 or 45/245 as optional profiles for stock 17 rear monoblocks.
