So, I just purchased new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 Plus tires for my baby. 225's front and 245's rear, of course. When I last purchased Michelin Pilot Sport (Porsche 911) they were directional, but apparently these are not. They have a side that mounts to the outside of the wheel , but it can rotate either way. This has me thinking that for even wear and maximum life I could swap these side to side on the front, and also side to side on the rear every 5000 miles or so to even up any wear, and keep them in optimum condition through their life. A few questions come to mind, as I ponder the situation.
1. Has anyone else looked into this / or done this?
2. Is my thinking at fault in some way, if so please explain.
3. Am I just overthinking this??
Thanks to all, I enjoy this forum, wish it were more active.

I am a Michelin man since ages, but I don't remember them being directional. One the other hand Pirelli P Zeros were if I recall. Didn't like them as very noisey and tracked every ridge on the road
