Tuner needed for M113 4.3 with supercharger
Hi, I posted in this forum about a year ago stating I had a C43 HPS supercharger gen 1 system for sale, well short story corona hit and I got bored and installed the supercharger. The car runs and drives but unfortunately I blew the trans almost immediately from the power it put down.
so to get to the point, I am in search of someone knowledgeable about tuning and building m113 motors. Or maybe a point in the right direction.
The reason for a tune is this.
1) id like to instal some larger injectors to add more fueling,
I have already added a larger fuel pump but have not tuned for fuel pump, just relying on stock system to “auto adjust”
2) the car can make more power more efficiently with an actual tune, at the moment there is a “piggy back” or a “fuel management system” as HPS calls it that is supposed to run the fueling for the car. It’s not amazing it’s early 2000s technology.
3) I’m getting lean and rich codes on both left and right bank that aren’t consistent but do repair under heavy acceleration.
the car will break up every once in a while under throttle suggesting (possibly that the trans wasnt happy as evident now) or that the car needs more fueling. I’m don’t have the ability to check this personally.
as a side note, with the trans having to be replaced I’m curious if anyone has done a e55 transmission swap onto the C43 4.3. I would imagine that because one is a 722.636 and the other is a 722.631 that only slight modifications of any would have to be made.
