C43 AMG with a tune up
Transmission oil change
Taking my car to the dealer tomorrow to change tranny oil.
I was told they are also going to flush the transmission.
I forgot what they told me, do they flush with tranny oil or a cleaning detergent?
Is it possible to unhook an oil line and drain the oil in the converter?
MB removed the converter plug on 98-99 cars.
Is it a total of 8 litres including converter to fill the tranny with new oil?

You can remove a hose from the tranny cooler and get some more out. Some remove the hose and let the engine idle until the ATF is all out.

5 years is max IMO not unless you are not driving much. I do mine every 3 years regardless of distance driven. And as Mattcordell says with change of pan gasket, filter and plug pilot bush each time. Parts are cheap even from the dealer. Also very important to use the recommended MB ATF oil
