Looking for the c43 (w202) front bumper joint cover
I’m renovating my c43 (w202) and looking for this part. I’ve been using metal mesh instead so far, but since I’m painting the whole car, I want to make it ori. Anyone?

I’ve checked with few dealerships in EU and US and this part seems not available.
Poland dealership can't find it?
Some dealerships can have old stock in the backrooms because certain parts were never returned back to Germany.
Maybe if dealership puts out an search and find through all dealers in PL?

Mine would unclip from the bumber from time to time. Thankfully the zip ties avoided the part falling on the ground and being crushed to pieces. I solved the problem when I painted my 43 a couple of years ago. The body shop bonded the "tooth brace" to the bumber. It's never going to fall off again!
CLK430 and CLK55 works just needs a bit of modifying.
Same strip just slightly different.

Yep, been there, done that. I’ve tried w208 part to fit my c43 (got inspired by a yt tutorial), but it doesn’t look good when you look from other angles then facing straight front.
I’d share a video from my body shop folks, but cannot upload it here, it’s in the comments under my fb post.
I've got a broken one in my garage that I'm saving for this reason. I know they're impossible to replace, so I'm basically waiting to find a shop who can repair it professionally.

MB headquarters in PL was simple: „not available anywhere, but check from time to time”
So I wrote to AMG and we’ll see what happens next.

As far as paying is concerned… at the end of the day it will be „make or buy” deci$ion. There’s a pain point beyond which I’ll have someone to make a fiberglass clone for me. Or drive with a naked bumper.

Cheapest way for you to get a good looking steering wheel is to get it re-wrapped with new skin.
Have you checked out local interior trim shops?
Buying a new SW is very expensive or NLA?
Just visited MB used car parts web shop.
They don't even list the 202 series anymore!!
WTF, now you can't even buy used parts directly from their site.

what’s wrong with it? It’s all plastic so why not just weld it IF the plastic is broken. Little body filler, prime and paint and your done.

Any luck finding this part? Are you still using the W208 part as a temporary fix. It looks "OK" in the YT video. Are you saying that's not a good temp fix?
