Center console strut?
My 1995 center console strut has lost its air and is now only along for the ride. Mercedes says I have to buy the whole center console which isnt available lol. What is the part number and/or a suitable replacement?

lol I mean the strut/damper doesnt provide any resistance to the movement of the armrest. Physically everything looks correct, nothing "broken." Whatever the damper uses, I assumed air, has leaked out or something internal has gone bad.

Ahhh so it's the center armrest. My cover doesn't have any damper at all. The lid is pulled up or pushed down manually with no assistance. Is this perhaps a special option?

Its probably a USA thing. Our models have a different lid with two compartments. The bigger compartment has small damper in the back
