Two Tone Seats

Hey guys, for those of you who have worked on your car seats or perhaps you may know the Answer to this….

I have a silver c43 and a white one that has the two tone seats. Both of the driver seats need some leather work.

I want to know if it’s possible to remove the passenger side seat and install it on the driver side? This way I will have a like new seats all around on one car.

Thanks for any info.

That's exactly what I did on my C43 when I purchased years back a nearly perfect passenger seat cover on eBay. Just needed to re-solder the heated seat wiring to make the connection between seat cushion and seat back.

Clarification: I only changed the seat cover, so I didn't have to do what PJmak did. And while at it, it was a good time to replace the air bags.

Yes it is, I've done this. The only thing you'll need to do is mount the seat inflate controls to the other side of the frame. Im sure you can avoid this by getting rails from another driver seat

Actually that might not work as they are mounted to the bottom cushion frame which im sure you dont want to disassemble.

I drilled holed on the opposite side of mine and riveted the mount on. Looks factory

So you’re saying I won’t need the extra rails? Just have to swap the air control and rivet them on? What about the seat belts did you have to swap them too?
