missing engine part in my 43



Hi there does anyone know what the part is which is infant of the engine and behind the fan. On my car its just an empty circular bracket and i don't know what goes into it.

1999 C43 AMG, 2005 E55 Wagon
It's a vacuum pump only installed on American models. Something to do with emissions. Not required.
