I'm a newbie :) looking to purchase a 1997 C36
Hi there,
I was looking into getting a 97 C36 w/ 70k km ~46k miles... it is a one owner mint condition car, no decs no problems what so ever (so the dealer says) it has new tires and new brakes all around.. do you guys think $28k canadian (~ $22k US) is to much? there are no nice condition C36's around town (hence the price)..
I drove the car and it is totally mint, i have wanted one of these for many years, but never was able to find a mint car or with the right price..
i tryed to look through the posts and look for common problems but i really didn't see much..
are there things that i should look at before purchasing? any guidlines with C36's? thank you very much.. looking forward to being an AMG owner

go for it.. 97 is rare... add in the 5-sp (altho we just had one guy complaining about it).. very nice.. price doesn't seem too bad.. but get at least a second indy mechanic (if possible) to look at it if it's not starmarked..
