thanks
I use h&r sports, no pads up front and #1 pads in the back
it scraped good when we installed them first but we took out the plastic covers from inside and trimmed down the little piece of molding back there
also had to roll the bottom part of the fender
still scrapes a lil but only on the right side and only when the weight is transferred onto it(hitting a left turn fast)
my new set of back tires will be 255s just in case
slso I heard its not safe to run no pads at all, is this true??

Well I'll put it to u this way. I had H&R springs with #4's all around and the car sagged. And the rubbing was crazee! The pads in my opinion also absorb some of the shock, I feel between the spring, suspension, road and I believe thee body of the car. I know on my E36 M3 the rear springs and shocks have a similar seperate spring and shock set up and the spring pads are very very thin. maybe 1/4" thick so who knows. However I would use the spring pads regardless. No noise and your car would still sit low. Especially since you r using H&R's. Right now I have a new pr of Votgland's I'm waiting to put on when I find the time.![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
I think I've tried every setup from Eibach(horrible),H&R(saggy and hard as hell ride),to cutting the stck springs which I think was too much for the front of my car. I will try the Votglands or go with the new H&R cup kit they are finally making for the C43 I heard.
