Took my car to local garage for a quick oil change...The mech. talked me to have P/S fluid replace. Why not? It's been well over 30K miles since last PS fluid change.
The car felt great, steering response felt much better (at least in my mind). As I putting the invoice away later, I noticed they used valvoline synpower fluid instead of MB OEM stuff. The nearest MB dealer is 40 min away and I'll have to take half day off my work. What are the potential problem I will be facing leaving those P/S fluid in there. In other words....what makes MB OEM Fluid unique??

last i remembered, mobil engine oil is recommended...donno about tranny fluid..
Thanks for the quick reply,
Does 95 C36 uses ATF fluid for its power steering?? I thought it uses DOT4 grade brake fluid...
Since C36 uses reg ATF fluid......I would assume it would be okay if that's what's in the powersteering system....
Now I am even more confused...
