Following up on this. Heard from my SA that, while the car is a mere 50 miles away from me sitting in port, he received an email from MB today saying that the C43 coupes are not expected to be released until October. No specific date in October. Just October... He said he will follow up when he hears more. I'll let you guys know what I hear.

Noooooo, say it ain't so. I've primarily heard it's because we're waiting in line for certification, but I'm starting to believe the rumour that Mercedes is purposely holding them back so that they can blow through the remaining C450's. Here's to hoping that C450 sales skyrocket over the course of this weekend lol

At least its October as corroborated by multiple members. 2-3 weeks at the earliest I imagine before we hear the next update.

I've been a little annoyed that my build date isn't until the 3rd week of October for an early December delivery, but now it seems like that may not be that much of a delay after all.
It's interesting that the C43 isn't even an option that you can build on mbusa.com yet.

I believe the US gets a choice between 3 premium packages, while us Canadians have all of the premium options bundled into one package.

Probably the best because there are no good quality videos of C43 except the one with the red coupe. I hope more owners will upload their videos in the future. It's a beautiful car with a nice sound.
I believe the stock exhaust on the C43 is more aggressive, but I don't think it has any effect on Brabus system. I think it will sound similar.

So I just got back from MB Brampton in the GTA and they had just gotten 3 C43 Sedan's in stock. I was driven around in one with the Performance exhaust and it sounded amazing to say the least. Lots of pops and burbles in Sport+ with valves open. Are the coupes going through a longer certification process?
Unfortunately the C43 with the Sport exhaust was pulled into the showroom for prep and I wasn't able to hear it's exhaust.
That being said, the experience was awesome.

Windows up, windows down, doesn't matter, you can always hear the crackling and popping. Burmester sound system was a complete waste of money, I'll never listen to music when driving in the city lol. There's an interior video on my Youtube channel. There was some drone when standing still but it didn't bother me at all, maybe because I've been driving a Corvette for the past 5 months.
I actually did order my car with performance exhaust but it arrived with stock due to miscommunication between my dealership and factory. That's also the reason why I had the Brabus system installed.
From that other good quality Youtube video I'd say that Brabus and AMG performance exhausts are almost the same, definitely an improvement on the C450 exhaust.

Nice ride!!! Out of curiosity was your car built in the Alabama plant in the USA? Do you know when your build date was? Also does you car have the acoustic glass for the driver and passengers front windows? The acoustic glass looks like 2 pieces of glass glued together if you roll the front window down and look at the top of the glass.. this information would be very helpful for me and some others if you could tell us.. thank you and great sounding beast you got there!

Well that's VERY interesting... now I wonder what's up with the coupes, and if mine is actually moving or not. But good to hear some Sedans are showing up!
