Well I hope that Mid-October release doesn't speak for everyone. My car is scheduled to arrive at Port of Los Angeles on September 21. I would expect to have it by the end of this month, but with all this conflicting info I have no idea!

I also asked my SA about the potential delay a few days ago and he said he hadn't heard of any for the C43 coupe, for what that's worth....

I couldn't say for everyone in the US, but the information I received from my dealer is consistent with what others have been reporting on here -- the C43s (both coupe and sedan) are awaiting EPA certification, but there is no firm date on when that will be done. My sedan is at the VPC in Baltimore, which is a few miles away from where I live. It's killing me to have it so close and have to wait possibly another month or two to get it.

Looks like we'll be getting our cars around the same time then!

He clarified his timing for me as 10/7 to finish being built and 11/7 as an estimated delivery to the dealership.

Seems so far away, but seeing that I've had an order in process since the end of February, it's just a drop in the bucket at this point. Almost there.

Yeah, mine is very similar. Production starts on 9/20, but I'm not sure when it finishes. How long does production usually take? Delivery was quoted for 11/4 to the dealership. Time is going by slower and slower each day lol.

My allocation was for a Decade 3 September production originally. He said my 10/7 build completion was a 1 week delay from the original date/timing. And then he said he'd expect about 4 weeks for delivery from Germany...so 11/7. That's all I know.

Hi Everyone. Just signed up here today, and thought put a light on Australia Market. I am receiving the first 5 to land in Australia for the C43 Coupe this Friday. Mine was fully loaded, and every trim possible inc. C63s Carbon Package. I'm hoping this car performs better than the pieces of crap called CLA45 as my daily. People save your money on a over reving 4 cyl!

Hi mate - congrats on the new wheels, and must be great to be getting it so soon! I have to wait until mid-late November (am in Sydney).

What options did you tick vs what the Australian C43 models come with as standard? (I know the Australian spec cars are usually right up there for standard specs compared to other countries). The only added options available to me were PE1 - performance ergo package (sports seats, sports exhaust, and sport steering wheel), H73-AMG Carbon fibre trim (interior trim), 606-19inch 14 spoke wheels, and the AirBalance thing (which I wasn't interested in so didn't get). Everything else (inc HUD) was standard so wondering if it was the same for you.

Congrats man, have fun with it! It is an awesome car to drive about in and the sound the AMG exhaust makes turns quite a few heads!

I'm not sure about the CLA45 but the A45 is slightly faster than the C43. It's faster to 60 and keeps pulling away ever so slightly. It's quite annoying! Oh well, time for a remap!

Congratulations bud! I picked mine up on Saturday and couldn't stop grinning!

There was another couple in the handover bay picking up their A45 (specced to £48k - £4k more than my C43!). They started their car up and were really pleased with the noise it made. I couldn't help myself - Sport +, Exhaust valves open - they immediately started asking their sales guy what my car was and stared at it while it drove past them haha!

Thanks Declan C. Hope you enjoy yours aswell! Mine was ordered back in January. When news came first of it. I know many CEO's or Managers of many Car Makers due to my vast car purchases, and going to the factory's to watch them be made. Mine was built uniquely, and so most of those options I have, but I changed many things not possible by many, or the Australia Market. Including Headliner colour, Red Seat Belts (not available at built, or ever for Australia Market), Rims I have the C63s Rims, minor changes and custom products installed at my request.

Thanks VijayB. This car wasn't bought other than the CLA was just a over-tuned, high revving engine that will wear out faster due to always high RPM. Also Mercedes Benz suffer on the DCT, and they know it. This wasn't bought to be fast. This will be my daily for few days a week for my clients on there visits. This will be the slowest, and quietest car in my garage. A45 would be as you said ever so slightly faster, but 4 doors for more ****** as a mate says ;P

This car will be getting the Brabus Treatment due to me already owning a Brabus 850 S Class, and the power that produces, and the reliability it has aswell compared to other tuners, who keep within safe parameters of the protocols, but they lie to the ECU. Brabus are obviously a well known brand, and recognised by Mercedes as the only Non-Warranty Voiding Tuner / Modifier on the market. And no one else will get that privilege to keep Warranty's. I can tell you though with the limited information I can give. The C43 AMG 2017 Coupe is designed to be slightly more aggressive in response and power. Also... Black Series maybe coming....

Congrats man, she looks great!

On a side note, I just found out that my original SA (who has left the dealership) accidentally confirmed the wrong set of rims for my build (ugly 5 spoke instead of bi-colored multi spoke). Less than a week until production starts, and I'm being told that I cannot make any changes. If my dealer is not able to fix this problem, I will unfortunately be forced to cancel my order. Extremely disappointing news

Can't they just order the right rims for you or swap them with another cars? Rims should be an extremely easy fix for them.

Just got off the phone with them, and they said they'll swap them out with another 43 when it arrives Thank goodness, everything is right on schedule. My SA said he should receive the VIN by Sept. 21st

Looks like the ship carrying my C43 coupe just arrived at the Port of Los Angeles! Hope to be hearing from my SA soon and will give you all an update on whether there are any EPA/Fed certification delays.

A Benz and a BMW
Does anyone have experience with both the stock vs performance exhaust on the C43 Coupe? I haven't been able to find a video or testimonial online that compares the two.
