We took our Stage 3 C63S to Royal Purple Raceway to get some updated times and we managed nearly a dozen 10.6-10.7 runs! The car is very consistent and a blast to drive! We wanted to document as much as possible and provide the most data to help potential customers decide on the best product for their 4.0LTT.
Our Vbox data (see picture) shows an impressive 0-60MPH in just 2.97 seconds!!
The Vbox also recorded a 60-130 of 7.59 seconds during the same ¼ mile pass!!
As you can see from the dyno graph, the Stage 3 kit makes 661WHP/651WTRQ @ 24PSI. Our estimation puts this car @ 775 hp and 762 lb-ft at the crank!!!
What is the estimated labor costs to install the turbo compressor wheels and downpipes? Do the turbos and ECU have to be sent to you for upgrading?? What is the turn around time??

The turbos are a 3 hour job max.
We keep a modified set on the shelf. We will charge you a core deposit and refund it when you send us your OEM turbos back in good condition.
The ECU does need to come to us for modification.

How much is the core charge if we want to keep our OEM turbos? I don't like the idea of "giving away" new turbos that are probably worth almost as much as this entire kit.
Can you also explain exactly what you've modified with the turbos? Are they just OEM units with machined compressor housings and larger compressor wheels? Everything else stock on the turbine side and wastegates? Also, have you tested with stock downpipes to see the difference in power over catless? I haven't heard a set of catless downpipes that sound good on the M177 - so it would be nice to see what kind of gains you get with just the turbo swap and software without tampering with emissions.
So why are you holding out on me lol? You got me to 565 whp and 620 tq.... the airbox your running didn't make all that much difference. Do I need to head back to Houston already? Let me know...you know I'll do it and I want Phil to set me up some track time with him when we get done! Philip call me man.

I also heard that upgraded Dime turbos on a White Edition C63s caught fire here in LA. What's the deal?

I highly doubt that the turbos caught fire. I have never seen that, ever. I would bet that it was something outside of the turbo. Either install error or really poor tune running lean.

Maybe, the exacts words were (quote): "he had upgraded turbos and his engine caught fire". I'm VERY interested in doing this upgrade. My car has pretty much everything expect bigger turbos and that's why I'm asking these questions. I want to know where the turbos are coming from and what kind of support I can expect after the install AND what happens in case of a problem. My car is still new..

Hey, I'm the owner of the White Edtion 1 C63S. The car had a Methanol leak that was caused by the Snowperformance kit, which has nothing to do with any of "Dime racing's products". Also I don't recommend you trying to black mail such a successful company like Dime racing as I personally know that they have nothing to hide. If you think otherwise, I'd love to see your so called proof...
