Hart,
Changing cars every 2 to 3 years seems to be a pattern for me also. Buying or leasing does not make a difference. Like pierdon11, and I suspect many others on these boards, I am a caraholic.

Good point! It will be interesting to see how expeditiously these are launched...I suspect all of those at VPC's are spoken for....so they should get priority shipping to the dealers (I say tongue in cheek) once a truck is fully loaded. Probably wishful thinking that MB Corporate has a plan to carry this out . So what's another month

Good to hear the thing is finally getting released! About time. Some have been sitting idle since early August.
Anyway about priority I would assume Priority 1 cars getting shipped first before Priority 2 cars. I remember my dealer saying it takes no more than 3/4 days for a car to arrive from the VPC.
Anticipating all the photos next week!

"My car was loaded on to the truck this morning and it should get here in a few days." - quote from my SA
I expect in a day or two as I am in NY and VPC is in NJ.
Will upload pics when she's here
Good luck with you guys. Hope you can get your cars soon!

I'm still waiting to hear back from my SA, emailed him on Friday and haven't heard ***** back from him.

Likewise - emailed my SA Saturday morning - still have not heard back from him - but he was also told Friday by GM that C43's were launched. I guess not much was loaded on transports over the weekend - but would expect today/tomorrow to be a big day if they are considered "priority." I'm sure we'll hear from others as to status in addition to to whom you responded

Newbie
I know I'm new here and you have no reason to trust me on this, but I've been a very long time lurker and been not so patiently awaiting my C43 Sedan that I ordered back at the end of May.
Anyways, I just got confirmation from my SA that my C43 is on its way to the Dealership and should be there Thurs/Fri this week.
So hopefully the rest of you will have updates on yours soon.

"C43's were released on Friday. Your C43 is ready to ship; just awaiting a truck to pick it up. Most likely it will be here by Friday."
Hopefully yours and mine will make the trip together

Updates:
I went to the dealership to finalize the deal, then my SA said the car might still be in Alabama, but he's still expecting it to get delivered in the next few days. No ETA available. He's gonna call the distribution tomorrow morning if the ETA does not get updated.
Looks like most of our cars are pending for pickup. Will keep you guys posted.

Just spoke to my SA further on the phone, MB put in the request for a truck this morning. The trucking company now has 72 hours to pick the vehicle up, after that they begin to earn less and less. He expects I will have the car by Friday based on prior history, but it could in theory squeeze over into early next week if the trucking company really drug their feet.

Car Arrived
My wife's C43 sedan arrived at the dealership today. It's raining on and off here in Orange County, so I probably won't get up there to look at it until tomorrow. Asked SA to send me a picture. If he does, I'll post it later.

Congrats, looking forward to the pics!

My SA said last night: "Your car is still at the port and they are being released this week to us." On the plus side, my dealership is in the Baltimore metro area and my car is at the Baltimore VPC, so it should make it to the dealership quickly once it is released.

Looks like some members are getting their cars pretty soon. If you plan on lowering your c43's, will it be the same as the ones used on the c450? H&r lowering springs in particular.

Where are these cars coming from. Coupes and'sedsns for USA delivery? Some people keep, talking about "ports" as if they came by boat?
#119
Coupes come from Germany, sedans from Alabama. Both need to pass through a VPC, then onto a truck to dealerships, then to prospective owners
