Sputter at startup?
I am used to a car starting something along the line of "tu tu tu vrooom". But I noticed that if I have left my C43 for a while (i.e. overnight or couple of hours) it goes something like "tu tu tu tu tu tu vrooom". It does an extra second of sputtering before it starts.
My SA and a service guy at MB said it's normal (when I went to the dealership it didn't sputter as much because I guess the car was warmed up and there was some gas in the lines that go to the engine).
Granted, it's a cold startup and should take a little longer, but it takes long enough that I fear for a few milliseconds that the car doesn't want to start - it always does start.
Thoughts ?

based on your written tu tu vroom and subjective opinion it's hard to know
my e63S sometimes takes a bit longer othan start
I charge mine up at least monthly, its nothing to do and prevents all sots of issues arrising.. (and ahefty battery replacement bill after a couple of years)..
Did you get it checked out ?
