Real Life C43 Performance?

Hey guys, long-time lurker, finally decided to register so I could ask y'all a question. I'm pretty close to pulling the trigger on a C43 sedan (especially after how much I enjoyed driving one today), but I wanted to ask about the real life performance figures.

I know MB quotes 4.6 seconds for the 0-60, is this figure accurate or can I expect faster acceleration in reality? I've seen some people say online that MB does not understate their figures, and others say they do, so I was curious if anyone had some insight as to whether this figure is lower than quoted? Thanks!

A Benz and a BMW
Honestly, even if it is slightly faster than 4.6 seconds, it won't make a perceivable difference.

My experience is that a car really only feels different if there is a half second difference in 0 to 60 acceleration.

Agree with the above from the seat of the pants it's very deceiving car to car so difficult to answer the OP's question without doing instrumented runs yourself...

From my experience driving a C450 (not C43 which is meant to be quicker) I was totally impressed with how quickly the needle wrapped around the speedometer, definitely a quick car and most probably quicker than the quoted number by MB.

Car and Driver just tested the C63s and they did a 0-60 in 3.8 seconds and 1/4 mile in 12 at 119 mph. A very quick car in anyone's books. Faster in a straight line then the new 2017 Corvette Grand Sport.

Thanks guys, I can definitely agree with the sentiment that a couple hundredths of a second isn't a very perceivable difference, I have test driven it twice now and it definitely "feels" fast to me, I was just curious as to whether the numbers were accurate or if I could expect it to be a little faster.

I was asking about the 43 not the 63S, thanks though!

I have actually been considering a 63 or 63S instead of the 43 after reading all of the reviews on here that it's drivable in the snow (I live in Colorado and assumed the 63 would have to be put away for the winter, but it seems like that's not the case from everyone on here).
