2017 AMG C63S Coupe, Triumph 675R Daytona, Triumph Explorer.
I was able to pick up a C63S Coupe that was a canceled order just finishing build completion. Hit 90% of my requirements (only missing 360 camera and was in a different colour I thankfully now like more), so saved myself a LOT of waiting.
Secured the order mid Nov with a delivery 29/30th Dec.
At the time I was also testing an Alfa Giulia Quadrifoglio and was told officially that all current planned production Quadrifolglio cars were already allocated, but I may be lucky and get myself on the short list for cars being delivered late Summer 2017. Which made that decision a lot easier...

This was my (overly specific) timeline. I didn't get the HUD FWIW.
Hope this is useful to someone.
- September 18th: put down $1K deposit. They matched me to a dealership order that was in pre-production with production date of "late September".
- October 3rd: dealer notified me that MB pushed back production to October 27th.
- October 28th: got freight information. My car was sailing through the Atlantic.
- November 1st: freight tracking says the car is in Jacksonville, FL. They dropped some cars there before sailing to the west coast.
- November 8th: the ship crossed the Panama Canal.
- November 15th: my C63s made it to Long Beach, CA.
- November 18th: dealer notified about a short delay in customs/inspection process.
- November 23th: my c63s made it to the dealership in NorCal.
Hope this is useful to someone.

Ordered 63s sedan 10-13.
Dealer said 3-4 months.
Called 2 weeks ago asking for an update and a copy of the production order. Order was to my specs except for one small addition i didn't ask for (wheel locks) which I have asked to be deleted.
The dealer says the build date is last 10 days of January (although this item is not specifically on the production order so it may be elsewhere in Netstar database)...
Then 4-5 weeks from Alabama to the west coast so late feb is current target so 4-5 months start to finish if this plays out on this schedule.

Ordered a C63s coupe in Sept. Dealer had a C43 build allocation which they were able to "repurpose" to the 63. Build date was quoted for 2nd week of Oct. Came out of production 11/11. On ship with delivery to the west coast on 12/12. If I actually get the car before Christmas I'll be thrilled.
Ordered without HUD, 360 camera, or nanny state package.

Well miracles happen.... dealer called today and told me the car will be here on the 12 of December. Three months early. So 4 months from order date.

Niiiiiice!! Let this patiently waiting fellow Canadian know when it comes in and lots of pics please! Looking forward to seeing it int he red... Is it going to be a daily driver? Im going to daily drive mine come next fall here in Vancouver, see how it goes in the rain ... I have a funny feeling I will hate succumbing it to the weather and end up keeping my SUV

Good for you! I ordered a while ago and other than a hint at a march production unit date it's been cricket noises for me..
And yes, from another anxious fellow Canadian, please post some pictures soon.

Yikes, think that is the longest wait I have seen yet. You have a one off build colour or spec? Where are you located. I placed my order November 20/16 .. build date is February 1st/2017 ... why is yours taking so long!?

I feel your pain and can relate. Deposited on the Z06 2 years in advance; that was a long wait. Fortunately, I purchased my C63s from the dealer lot- instant gratification. I would prefer to have the 360 camera and carbon dash.

Thought I posted on this but I guess not..
Ordered 10/2 & took deliver on 12/14
Port to dealer in 3 days - Make sure they list the car priority 1 which means its a sold car.
This speeds up the port to dealer time from my understanding

My SA said my vehicle was completed because it had a vin # now, and we're just waiting for transport to the US now.
Is that true? I thought a vin was assigned when production began, not upon completion.

2014 CLA250, 2017 C43 Sedan(Arriving in March/April)
I was placing an order on a C43 but my SA pulled up their incoming dealer orders and found one with literally everything I wanted arriving in late March, so I just "ordered" that instead.
That arrival time is probably a couple of weeks quicker than a custom build.

Are you in Canada? ...allocated incoming dealer orders can be changed at anytime, up until approx. 4 weeks before the unit goes into build. My allocated unit goes into build the first week of February, and will arrive mid-late March like yours ( if your in Canada your unit will be on the same boat most likely ), and I can still make changes to my order. Making changes does not delay the build. So, if there is anything you want/dont want on that unit, have it changed and get exactly what you want!

Huh, I didn't know that, the only thing it didn't have that I kinda wanted was the HUD, I'll call up my SA and see what we can do, thanks for the tip!
