Auto headlamps (Canada)

hey does anyone know away to override the automatic headlamps? I find they come on way too early

There should be a switch to turn off auto. It's located near the driver side vent, left of the steering wheel. Just please don't be one of those idiots who forget to turn on their lights at night time.

the switch does not do anything the sensor over rides

Curious why you feel they come on to early, and why that might become a issue worth pursuing?

i just feel they turn on too early, was just something I'm not use to. my Audi allowed me to override the auto by turning the switch. Not the case with my new car it is like the switch is just there

There's no way to turn off the lights with the knob on auto.You can override it for turning the lights on sooner then the auto sensor (by switching to corresponding position),but not off once they are switched on by sensor.

Oh I see. I was not aware of that. Maybe that's MB's way of making their headlights idiot-proof lol.
