damn, this looks insanely good..... i wish there was a cost effective solution for getting aftermarket wheels on these cars.
(without having to lower the car and spend a grip on wheels).. seems like there aren't many inexpensive wheels that fit these cars.
Konig has flow formed options for ~1200 for a set...

meh, not many options from them in a good looking style. and the ones that are good looking, are only available in 19x8.5 (smallest width). so for the front end, that means lowering the car.
to rephrase my previous statement, i wish there were more options that were plug and play.

thanks for the kind words! Give it time, always happens when a newer platform comes out. Same thing happened to the w204 platform. There weren’t many options at first but in due time more affordable lowering and wheel options came to be. Many vossen and rohana wheel choices along with others.
Picked up my Iridium Silver C43 estate over the weekend. Only got to drive it for a day before it was dropped off for paint correction, ceramic coating and PPF.

Love the pics! Did you upgrade the brake pads? If not, how'd they hold up?
The car is 100% stock. My wife is running in a novice run group so the speeds are not that high (relative). She was the fastest in her group however and received a lot of point by's. She had zero issues with braking or anything else. The only annoying thing with this car is that the accident avoidance nannies have to be turned off each time the car starts. Otherwise the car is set up amazingly well for novice-intermediate HPDE. And as a bonus this is a great way to wear out the runflats faster. PS4S will be next!

Yes the RFs are crap on track. Too hard , not a good choice for a performance car. Also don't know why the hell they put only narrow 225 /40 up front!?
its a 2019 C43.
things done:
Badging is all black. the only Chrome showing on the car is the Mercedes badge on the grill cause it has the destronic package as well.
door handles are black where chrome was originally.
Replaced original grill with Panamera grill.
Lowered on K&W HAS lowering springs
Red stripe on the car,
PPF the front of the car and ceramic coated the rest.
Will try and get better / bigger pictures later.
Things to do on the car. Replace the Mercedes Wheels with aftermarket. Doing that after the original tires need to be replaced, and will be running the Michelin All Seasons.
Great looking car Dystempr. I should know, I was a couple of cars behind you yesterday on Carowinds Blvd. I followed on to 77 and passed you just to get a better look at your car! I am picking up my 2020 coupe tomorrow so next time you see me I'll be in a car you recognize.
