I had it painted. It was already off as I had the panamericana grille on so removing the "wing" from the mesh was simple...a few clips.
She's already low enough, and No to red calipers. In my opinion.
It's stock height which is why I am thinking of lowering...just a inch I think. As for red..I just want more "pop" and while I love some other colours, I think red is one I probably won't get tired of in a year or so

Saw one near Newmarket last Friday before our provincial lockdown but ya they are pretty rare, not sure when magno was offered here or if it was always offered just the dealership for some reason couldn't order it in that. Didn't take pictures unfortunately. However, did notice it had the euro lights (without the side marker) so it might be an import or they just swap the headlights. When I got my pfl C43 back in 2017 there weren't an option to get magno (maybe at least for the dealership I got mine from for some reason).

Ah hopefully he's a member here. I think the paint was exclusive to Night Editions on the 18' models
Considering that now you can just get the paint for an additional $2500, I'm surprised there aren't more on the road. It turns a lot of heads (not that I got it for that) even though it's not the rarest car to spot.

Gorgeous!
But ya, to answer your question. I think it will be more popular when the 206 comes out because looks like the regular non AMG models can option magno. (At least based on the virtual release of the 206 it was displayed in magno and it wasn't AMG, if that option is even coming to Canada for non-AMG models)
Another thing is, magno paint is harder to maintain and especially a pain when it is scratched, paint correction is hard on magno. It also doesn't help when Canadian winters exists. The C43 is daily drivable in winter and storing it throughout winter doesn't make ton of sense.
Automatic car wash and magno also don't go well together, other than us and others on the forum that wax and hand wash our cars, the majority takes it to the automatic car wash, I see that especially common in winter.
Edit: Hmmm I didn't know the base A class non AMG model in Canada allows you to option magno as well. Guess it wasn't exclusive to AMG branded models for a while after all.
Its not so much the design elements of the facelift front bumper but I think they look or actually wider on the bottom that makes the car have a wider stance. I've never overlapped the PFL and FL models from the same angle and over lapped the photo's.
As for the P.E. note difference, I have not driven a PFL so its hard to say. What I've been told is PFL is more raw, and FL is more "refined" but quiet. Also I was told suspension tuning is much different and that FL rides smoother.
I'm trying to keep this car with a clean build like I always do with my other cars, and enhance what is lacking on this car, while maintaining a OEM+ look.
My criticism of the style of this car would be:
has a feminine vibe, but can be taken as elegance
car looks narrow (I prefer wide and low vs narrow and tall)
wheel fitment issues with UCA's in the front and narrow fender clearance in the rear
Top end feels weak
I think those are fixable with some modifications. Here's how it stands now:
VTF adjustable springs
15mm F / 20mm R spacers
ASR exhaust flap controller
Vinyl wrapped all chrome pieces
Double fin grill painted black
Amber delete on headlights/tail lights
paddle shifter extention
225/40/19 + 255/35/19 Yokohama Advan V601 summer tires (OEM is trash)
ceramic coated
Been lurking around since 2018 with my first C43. Got the 2018 off the floor and did not have many options but what a great car it was! Order a 2021 in December to my liking, same color combination as before but finally got Carplay, HUD, distronics, parking assist, amg sports seats, and few other upgrades from the 2018 and of course the FL. Not really planning to do much more. Already swapped my grill and tires at purchase. Dealer had a collision shop and I felt very comfortable having them swap the grill and recalibrate sensors and camera. The grill was a great fit and the collision shop did a great job on the swap. Not planning to do more mods, already did the euro lighting upgrade and in the process of swapping out badges for matte black badging. Speaking of which, I made my first post (a reply) in the GLC forum in reference to the camera trunk badge swap. I was curious if it was attached with automotive tape or pinned in in some way and if so how to remove it correctly. I have not yet received the replacement star emblem and maybe it might be more obvious when I do receive it. I have seen post on replacing on the W204 (I think) trunk and there were a few pins or something that you did not want to lose when making the swap. Looking for any recommendations and also for general badge swapping tips. Already have an eraser wheel and have watched a few videos of what to do but always looking hear other thoughts.
Glad to be here. Here are few pics. Had for 2 weeks and only 186 miles on the clock. I need to get out more soon!
