C43 0-100 KPH (62 MPH) in 4.2 Sec.
It shows all three car's 1/4 mile times...
It feels much faster on the downshifts, especially when Trans is cold. Try this, go from 9th to 5th as fast as you can... now try going the other way. There is no need to pause on the way down (4 pulls on the left, bam you are down 4 gears), but on the way up you literally have to wait a full second while it up-shifts before initiating the next gear change, or you end up having the pull the right paddle twice per up-shift.
[QUOTE=sean1.8t;7016720]That last 500rpm's before you hit the rev limiter comes so damn fast in 1st & 2nd.
I read one review (Road & Track maybe), that accused Mercedes of initiating the rev limiter 500 rpm early (6000).... I'll try and find the article.
And yes, in your scenario it does shift faster that way. But if you are really concerned about it this much, then maybe you should have gone with a car that has a dual clutch transmission like the ZF 8spd's in audi's and BMW's.. These "speed shift" trannies are pretty amazing for being just a single clutch unit. I have no complaints on my end.

I'm not terribly concerned, I had a 540i with SMG and (2) Z4's with the DCT trans, so they are my comparison.
You are right though, this 9G-Tronic is amazing and overall more flexible than any of those mentioned.... perfect for the everyday purpose that I bought the C43.

Thing just hooks up. When you get up in the revs though, it doesn't pull as hard, which is to be expected with a smaller, forced induction motor.
