Top up Engine Oil every 1500km by 0.8L

According to the manual it says that AMG Cars can loose as much 0.8L per 1500km specially if driven harder. I think I am fairly easy going in terms of driving the car, but how exactly are we supposed to keep track of this? Like check the engine oil level stick every week? Or will the car control computers will give me a notification to top it up?

We are expected to add 1L when the oil level drops down to minimum.

Also what is the proper way to check the engine oil levels on these cars?

Thanks a lot in advance guys!

Start with last --check cold or after it sits for a while--they are covering their *** with the warning.
Mine has not used any over 8k miles and I have not been a good boy.
It does give you a message if low but I find the sensor will give a low warning but not be low when checking with dip stick.
I would not worry about it unless it starts using some.
Life is short /oil is cheap

For real? just check the dip stick once a month. You should be doing that anyway.

Car will tell you when to top off!!! But like they said before get used to checking you oil level at least every month. But wait until the car tells you to add a quart so that you don't end up overfilling
