Anybody else find the locate your car feature a little too much invasive of your privacy?

As long as the app is on my phone it's not a big deal, but if someone else has the app or gets your login information, it makes it a little big brother(ish)

I would like to keep my privacy. Is there a way to deactivate just this feature?
