I was going to do the BMW driving school with a friend and since I got the c43 we are going to do AMG academy instead. Someone mentioned to me that in the first 12 month you can do it for free if you buy a AMG. I can see this being the case with the c63, does this apply to the the C43?

Not sure about Canada but I got my invitation about 3.5 months after I got my car. I am in the US.

Yes! I received my voucher about 3 months after buying my car.

I also almost paid for it out of pocket, was pleasantly surprised when the voucher showed up.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe there are courses for us Canadians. However, I'm not sure if the basic course is available to us. The best way to find out would be to call or email ADA.

AMG Driving Academy coupon is not available to Canadians. You can still sign up but you will have to pay about $2500-$3000...

yes, it applies to lease owners as well. I leased my c43, and i got my invitation a couple of weeks ago.

Too bad it isn't in Canada in this form.

But... they had a winter driving course. The first time outside of Europe - I believe only hosted in Sweden before. They did it just north of us on Lake Winnipeg.

I did get an "Invitation", but I believe it was $4500 for the day. Ouch.

I'll look into this. I have done the AMG Driving Academy at Mt. Tremblant and Calabogie near Ottawa. They have them regularly so will see if they can honor the promo! They do not have dates yet for 2017 but have Toronto/Montreal as locations of the Academy. I would guess Mosport or Mt. Tremblant.


I know with my Z06, I had a year to do it and I went to Las Vegas and had a blast.

I had a strange message from the Toronto / Canadian folks that indicated they are done for 2017. I am pretty sure they meant they were done for 2016, but that isn't what they said. Strange.... And there is a fee.

Thank you. I expected the basic to be included. It is great that the credit could be applied towards advanced or higher as well. However, it says that the C450 is excluded but doesn't mention anything about C43. But I guess it qualifies as some owners have received the invites. Glad!

Yeah, unless there was some kind of mistake, it's definitely included with the C43. I am registered for the basic class at Road Atlanta in May and have received a note saying my registration is confirmed (vs the initial message I got that said they were checking my eligibility).

The 43 qualifies for sure. My date at Laguna Seca has been confirmed and I also get a letter in the mail inviting me to do the driving academy.

yes for sure, i just got my confirmation as well. At first, when visiting the academy site, C450 is excluded, which I assume C43 will be too. Not wanting to register until i confirm, i asked my salesman to help me register (hoping he could pull some strings if indeed c43 does not qualify). He told me C43 does not qualify, only C63 and up. What a load of BS.

Anyways, i then registered myself, got the email pending purchase verification. 2 days later, my confirmation was received for Aug at Lime Rock Park, CT.

It's definitely included. Also, you don't have to wait for the letter. You can register with just your VIN.
