Just got the car yesterday and am somewhat overwhelmed at the moment with all the electronics

Took a 375 mile trip this morning, had my dealer program the destination while I was there for something else (front license plate bracket install)

So, easy question...

How do I cancel a trip and stop the navigation?

Fortunately, I did arrive at my destination and the Nav stopped on completion of the trip, but twice I get off the highway to eat and couldn't pause/turn of the Nav and the "redirecting/U-turn, etc was driving me crazy

I'm going to read through the manual this week, but in the interim if someone could please help me with this I would appreciate it

If you're on the map view, pull down on the jog wheel one time, then push down to select destination. The first item that comes up will be the cancel route guidance.

Then when you need to continue, you can perform the same steps as above and it will say "Continue...etc".

I am speaking out of memory so I hope it is correct.

Thanks Roy I'll try it tomorrow morning using the address I'm staying at from 1,000 feet down the road just in case LOL

I'm not familiar with the area I'm in so need Nav this week to get around

Hit the voice control button and say "cancel route guidance"

Easy to do. And it works almost every time.
