Gasoline Octane Question
There are 2 options in the area I live and I'm curious to what you other owners would choose
I can get 93 Octane with 10% Ethanol or 91 Octane with no Ethanol
Seems like the 93 Octane is the way to go from the performance aspect, but I've heard the Ethanol mixes are not as good for the engine or hoses, etc that are connected to it
I'm in a lease and will likely not stay in this vehicle past the 3 year term
In my previous non-performance vehicle, I ran the no Ethanol gasoline as I was planning on buying the lease out at the end of the term although ultimately didn't go that route so perhaps better for the next owner

First off, Google is your friend. Instead of creating a thread every day for whatever pops in your head, try Google. A lot of info there that you'll never extract from the users here.
But either are OK to run. I would personally run 93 w/E. All I have in Utah is 91 craptane . I would kill for 93 w/E! You're mileage will slightly decrease but you'll get much better performance. And if you're worried about 2-3 MPG's, then you shouldn't be driving a $60k car lol.
Also, Ethanol is not bad for your car or "hoses that connect to it". Modern day fuel injected motors are designed to run a mixture of Ethanol. If you're driving a 30 year old ford pinto, you definitely want to stay away from putting any amount of Ethanol in your tank.
And as far as brands? No brands are really above another. There is 2 choices when choosing gas: Top Tier gas, and not Top Tier gas. NEVER fill up with anything but Top Tier gas.
To find out which stations are Top Tier, like I said before, Google is your friend

Another alternative is mixing 15-25% E85 (if you have access to it) if you're looking to achieve higher octane. Proven safe in the Audi realm and I knew many on the FRS/BRZ/86 platform that ran a blend with and without tunes. Very popular nowadays.
