Platinum Guard is the brand for both interior leather protection as well as a paint protection. I am not sure if that is what you are referring to, but almost every dealer includes options for these types of aftermarket options. The brands and products vary from dealer to dealer.

I have no idea on the quality of the Platinum Guard product, but I think most of these products do provide some benefit but they are usually overpriced by car dealers as they are typically coupled with a warranty which has very specific requirements which need to be followed in order not to void it. Since you are paying a premium for the warranty, you should understand the fine print so as to understand what is covered.
