Removal of rear reflectors on c43amg coupe
In the spirit of knowledge sharing: Here's a DIY to remove the rear reflectors on the coupe.
1. The reflectors cannot be removed from the outside with a trim removal tool. They just be pushed out from behind the bumper while squeezing two clips in. The remove from the inside (end facing middle of car) to outside (end facing wheels).
2. To make this easier the rear bumper was not removed but the lower valvence was. With lower valence removed there is just enough room to squeeze your hands in there to depress the clips. Start with the inside clip first and then do the outside clip and then push the reflector out. It takes a lot of effort to depress the taps and trim removal tools help. Pics below of what the rear of the reflector looks like and where the clips go. I hope this helps someone.
