I'm sure a lot of people will say it's not worth it but to me I don't like the matte finish of the plasti dip, and decided to buy all new emblems in Gloss Black. I think it came out to $75 shipped. Everything else on the car is gloss so I think it looks better to me.
I'll post pictures when I have a free day to work on the rear end. Emblems and DTM spoiler I will save for the same day after I clean off all the old glue from the spoiler and the AMG and the C43.
For or anyone whose done the skirts in vinyl by themselves I'm looking for some motivation!! Let's hear how easy it is...
Has anyone blacked out the diamonds in the grill? I'm thinking about doing it but curious if plasti-dip is the way to go or if there are any better options.

Probably gonna be my next project. Will post pics.

You could always try sourcing the new studio pack grille for a better result.
I would not dip that because it would be such a PITA to peel/remove from the grille.

I was going to attempt black vinyl. Seems like it may take awhile but I hate the chrome diamonds on this grille
edit: there over 250 diamonds. At one min per diamond, that's over 4 hours. Not gonna rush into this.
Surprised that no one is selling a C63 look a like for the C43. Anyone??

Thanks. Some of the diamonds came out rougher than others, still pretty new to using plasti-dip so some definite over-spray going on. My original plan was to remove the grille and spray it but someone "borrowed" my torx set so gonna have to re-do when I can. I mostly wanted to get rid of the chrome.

This was done pretty well considering it was your 1st time. Can you share some tips on what you would of done differently, since you're planning on reapplying dip again. Also, did you cover the backside of the grill to stop the spray from getting on the radiator?

Thanks, probably gonna remove the grille to respray it. Just go slow and spray evenly, and don't spray too much per coat. It takes about 5-6 coats to get good coverage, and you have to allow it to dry a little before the next coat, so it will take the better part of an afternoon.
I just shoved some newspaper in between the grille and the radiator.

Front lip, rear diffuser and side skirts wrapped in gloss black. Next is the door handles, chrome piece on the trunk, and then adding some red accents!!!
