Hopefully someone can give me some insight or share some experiences?
Been doing a lot of back and forth on if i should run garage my AMG 19" rims in winter for a set of 18s, but since the pirelli RFs are already wearing hard at 3k miles and need to come off anyway thought I might just mount the pilot sport AS3+ in November for year round (or at least give them a shot).
i took the wheel and tire protection when i bought the car, but since those aren't OEM runflats, will they not be covered?
similarly, if i don't buy mercedes OEM wheels for the hypothetical second set of 18's, i basically get no value from the plan on anything that happens to the tires or rims, correct?
If the tires would no longer be covered, then it's more fuel to dump the plan - part of me wants to get through one winter and see how i fare with the PA potholes (guessing not well?)
